Biography

Michael was raised in Toms River, NJ and attended Monsignor Donovan High School. Upon graduation he studied theology and political science, and played lacrosse and ice hockey at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. Those experiences led to time spent studying peace and conflict resolution in the former Yugoslavia. His time overseas inspired him to continue his academic work between theology and conflict studies, so he moved to Philadelphia in order to work and study at Villanova University, where he ultimately earned his M.A. in theology with a concentration in ethics.

With experience teaching honors-level and International Baccalaureate courses in philosophy, sacred literature, social justice and world religions, Mr. Santos teaches world religions to the sophomores at Trinity Hall, is a member of the Campus Ministry Committee and is on the lacrosse coaching staff.

If he's not at school or hanging out with his wife and son, you'll likely find him cooking, hunting, fishing or hiking.
