Biography

Christina Advento was raised in Kansas and Texas by wanderlust parents. As an adult she has lived all over the world, teaching at international and American schools in Cairo, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Dubai. Since moving back to the US in 2019, she has enjoyed the "shore life" in Bradley Beach, where she lives with her family.

A curious, lifelong learner, Christina has earned a Bachelor's Degree in history, a secondary teaching degree, a Master's Degree in English language and literature, and, most recently, a Master's Degree in library science.

In her fifth year at Trinity Hall, Christina enjoys the mission-driven focus, and caring and innovative community of colleagues and students.  She enjoys helping students explore the world through research. She works with students in AP Lang to enjoy and discover the power of language, and in AP Psych to help students understand themselves and others. She advises several clubs, including the Pen’s Den Literary Magazine and NASA’s Plant the Moon club.
