Love Week: SCOPE Offers an Enjoyable Week of Events | Monarch Media

Love Week at Trinity Hall arrived yet again! The SCOPE Council worked hard to plan a week full of Big/Little-Sister bonding, fun Valentine’s Day activities, and events that extend the love outside of Trinity Hall. The events that began on February 7 and concluded on February 13 consisted of five different themes of love with a matching planned event for each day.

The first day was themed “Love of Faith” and a First Friday Mass was held in the chapel. The next theme “Love of Self” included a head’s holiday. On the third day, there was Big Sister/Little Sister cupcake decorating to celebrate the theme of “Love of Friends.” “Love of Community,” the fourth day, consisted of hosting a bake sale to support a local non-profit and a dress-down day in support of LLS. The fifth and final day was themed “Love of Animals and Environment,” which allowed for students to interact with the always-popular service dogs.

SCOPE Council representative Julia McCarthy ‘27 spoke about the council's thought process behind these events, “Love week focuses not only on our Trinity Hall community but the extended community as well. It brings us together because we focus on creating a better environment by furthering our connections with each other, focusing on our own mental health, and reaching out into the community to offer our help.”

Not only were these events exciting events for faculty and the student body but they also allowed the community to engage in fulfilling activities that act as a reminder of how grateful we are to receive love in a variety of ways.
