101 Corregidor Road has been under a major renovation project since the beginning of July. Last summer marked Trinity Hall’s launch into an exciting new chapter with the expansion of campus. This initiative has targeted enhancing the educational experience for faculty and students alike. The new building will extend the realm of the campus with a state-of-the-art STEM and fabrication lab, a dedicated College Counseling suite, as well as more academic classrooms. Along with these additions, there will be a whole new Commons area connected to the current Commons. The transformation of Trinity Hall’s campus is a testament to the school’s dedication to creating an environment for the education and development of young women. The staff, faculty, students, and community members are ecstatic about these upcoming updates to Trinity Hall.
The expanded campus will benefit the entire school community and bolster STEM and robotics innovations. The creation of a dedicated space for the engineering design process and tools will support creativity and empower students to develop critical problem-solving skills.
The addition of the College Counseling suite is an important cornerstone of Trinity Hall’s campus renovation. This new area will allow students to work with college counselors on navigating the application process and exploring resources for their secondary education and future careers.
With the addition of new academic classrooms, the ever-growing population of students at Trinity Hall will be accommodated. These classrooms will provide a beautiful learning environment, equipped with all the tools and technology necessary for interactive and rigorous learning.
The construction of the building expansion has been under the direction of contracting firm E.P. Guidi, Inc. They have provided excellent design and project management throughout the expansion process. According to Nicole Calandrino ‘17, a Trinity Hall graduate and current member of the development team, “The building progress is on track. The Commons is sealed with bricks and closed in completely, and the academic wing had windows added over break. There are weekly updates posted to Instagram on our progress called ‘Behind the Bricks’ and overall we are extremely happy with our progress.”
The expansion project has been made possible through the collective efforts of administration, the board of trustees, parents, alumnae and friends of Trinity Hall. Additionally, these strides could not be taken without the generosity of businesses and the local community. Jersey Mike’s Subs has recently provided financial support for this endeavor through a sizable donation. The community support for this project is a recognition of the importance of women’s education and the commitment to the innovators and leaders of the future.
