Trinity Hall recently announced the keynote speaker for their annual Leading Ladies Luncheon. On Tuesday, May 21, Trinity Hall and the Class of 2025 will welcome Adriana Carrig, Founder and CEO of Little Words Project to Eagle Oaks Country Club. The annual event is an empowering day where local women connect and network with Trinity Hall’s junior class while enjoying lunch and hearing from the keynote speaker.
As the Founder and CEO of Little Words Project, Adriana Carrig has been spreading the message of kindness for over 10 years. Little Words Project is a jewelry company, centered around handcrafted bracelets with inspirational messages on them. From messages like “keep going” to “strength” and “you got this,” customers can wear these positive messages as a self-love reminder or pass it along to spread kindness to someone else. Customers can even register their bracelets on their website, share their stories and see how far their bracelet goes. Since the company’s creation in 2013, the brand has sold millions of bracelets and has inspired millions of people to spread their mission across the world.
Carrig started the business while she was in college, making bracelets for her sorority sisters. After struggling with being bullied throughout her life, Carrig started creating bracelets with “wearable affirmations” to remind wearers to be kind to themselves. What started as an idea in a dream Carrig had and a nice gesture to her sorority sisters has turned into a global phenomenon. Over the past 10 years, Little Words Project has become a multi-million dollar business with the jewelry being sold directly to consumers, wholesale and in retail stores like Nordstrom and Target. Little Words Project also has a flagship store in New York City, as well as stores in Boston, Miami, San Francisco, and of course, Pier Village in Long Branch, as Carrig is a Jersey girl herself.
As a successful businesswoman who leads with kindness and has a mission to “just be nice” to ourselves and others, Carrig will speak to Trinity Hall students and guests about her personal and professional journey, inspiring them to dream big and take action. The keynote speech will perfectly complement the afternoon that is focused on empowering and uplifting women and young women in the Trinity Hall community.
