Biography
Terese Strada is entering her second year of teaching at Trinity Hall. She has been in the world of education for 20+ years: public, catholic, charter, yeshiva, and community college, and this year she will be teaching ninth grade theology and tenth grade English. She is excited to share her faith in the Catholic tradition as it relates to literature and the world. Also, she continues helping with the Garden Gurus Club and is an active member of campus ministry at school.
She holds an undergraduate degree from Dickinson College in English and Master’s degree in secondary English education from New York University. She is a Bearing Witness Educator trained to help students understand the history of anti-Semitism, the Holocaust, and modern forms of prejudice while focusing on Judeo-Christian relations.
In her spare time, she can be found working seasonally as a florist, merchandising at a coastal interior design shop, and cheering on the sidelines of field hockey games for her two daughters. Fun fact: she is married to a high school math teacher.
